9350e6b741 Bug 1613985 - Use MOZ_COUNTED_DEFAULT_CTOR_*/MOZ_COUNTED_DTOR_* macros. r=froydnj
This removes the need for explicit #ifdef NS_BUILD_REFCNT_LOGGING without
introducing user-defined destructors when it is not defined.

Also, some uses of virtual for declaring destructors are replaced by the
appropriate override declaration through these changes.

bfcb8d06e9 Bug 1614510 - Split clip-path and shape-outside values. r=boris
We don't actually share _that_ much code across them. This makes callers clearer
and code less confusing, IMHO.

This also has the benefit of not autocompleting path from devtools for
shape-outside.

006e5cca66 Bug 1614198 - Use cbindgen instead of nsStyleImage. r=aosmond
The trickier part is that we represent -moz-image-rect as a Rect() type instead
of image with non-null clip-rect. So we need to add a bit of code to
distinguish "image request types" from other types of images.

But it's not too annoying, and we need to do the same for fancier images like
image-set and such whenever we implement it, so seems nice to get rid of
most explicit usages of nsStyleImage::GetType().

374cabd6e7 Bug 1606628 - Remove nsStyleImageRequest. r=tnikkel,heycam
This removes nsStyleImageRequest by moving the load state to LoadData instead
(where other lazy state like the resolved URL and load id lives).

That way we can use cbindgen for more stuff (there's no blocker for using it for
all images now), and we can undo the image tracking shenanigans that I had to do
in bug 1605803 in nsImageFrame.

This removes the mDocGroup member because well, there's no real upside of that
now that quantum DOM is not a thing.

It also removes the static clones of the image requests, and the need for each
computed value instance to have its own request. These were needed because we
needed the image loader for the particular document to observe the image
changes. But we were also tracking the request -> loader for other purposes.
Instead, Now all the images get loaded with GlobalImageObserver as a listener,
which looks in the image map and forwards the notification to all the interested
loaders instead dynamically.

The style value is only responsible to load the image, and no longer tracks /
locks it. Instead, the loader does so, via the image tracker.

44e2f8b6ed Bug 1507674 - Refactor svg observer setup to not do silly things when observing an ancestor. r=longsonr
Right now we post updates and it "works" because we prevent the UpdateOverflow
call if we're during reflow.

If this happens during styling however this is not sound (and it is not sound
in general and has caused badness in the past, as noted by the other
workarounds).

Make it sound by preventing to observe ancestors, and do it everywhere, removing
various ad-hoc hacks that were spread around elsewhere.

This changes expectations of two tests:

 * clip-path-recursion-002.svg: Now we consider the inner clip-path reference
   invalid. This matches WebKit and Blink, and I don't see any spec text
   explicitly asking for our old behavior, so I just changed the test.

 * element-paint-recursion.html: Changes the expectations of elements
   referencing themselves via -moz-element(). Now it is invalid, instead of
   painting ourselves once inside ourselves, which was a bit wild on its own.

```
```

After this, I manually removed the directive in nsContentUtils.cpp due to:

When XBL is disabled, no code in dom/xbl will be built. Also, adds ifdefs
to remove any of the XBL related code elsewhere. There's definitely more
that can be done here, but I think it's better to wait to do the rest of
the cleanup when we actually remove the code.

e99e9dc4ac Bug 1585863 - Remove nsChangeHint_UpdateTextPath. r=longsonr
The only thing it does is asserting a bit and posting more async work to the
text frame. It seems we can just post all the async work early instead, and
remove the change hint.

This was only introduced to fix bug 779971, where a <textPath> element
references its parent SVG, which is obviously unsound if we allowed to render
it.

What we're doing right now is a bit silly... We're observing the <svg>, so when
we finish reflowing it and store its overflow, we invalidate its rendering
observers, but that invalidates a _descendant_, which makes no sense.

Fortunately we don't let the element affect its rendering, as it fails this
check:

 * https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/35cc00a25c4471993fdaa5761952bd3afd4f1731/layout/svg/SVGObserverUtils.cpp#1390

But we still request reflow of the outer <text>, which is not amazing. We
shouldn't invalidate anything if the textpath doesn't reference a valid element
and that didn't change. This is roughly what the code tried to do when checking
mValid, except we always initialize mValid to true and thus always trigger at
least one bogus reflow call.

a384dedd93 Bug 1552708 - Use cbindgen for URIs. r=heycam
This doesn't clean up as much as a whole, but it's a step in the right
direction. In particular, it allows us to start using simple bindings for:

 * Filters
 * Shapes and images, almost. Need to:
   * Get rid of the complex -moz- gradient parsing (let
     layout.css.simple-moz-gradient.enabled get to release).
 * Counters, almost. Need to:
   * Share the Attr representation with Gecko, by not using Option<>.
     * Just another variant should be enough (ContentItem::{Attr,Prefixedattr},
       maybe).

Which in turn allows us to remove a whole lot of bindings in followups to this.

The setup changes a bit. This also removes the double pointer I complained about
while reviewing the shared UA sheet patches. The old setup is:

```
SpecifiedUrl
 * CssUrl
   * Arc<CssUrlData>
     * String
     * UrlExtraData
 * UrlValueSource
   * Arc<CssUrlData>
   * load id
   * resolved uri
   * CORS mode.
   * ...
```

The new one removes the double reference to the url data via URLValue, and looks
like:

```
SpecifiedUrl
 * CssUrl
   * Arc<CssUrlData>
     * String
     * UrlExtraData
     * CorsMode
     * LoadData
       * load id
       * resolved URI
```

The LoadData is the only mutable bit that C++ can change, and is not used from
Rust. Ideally, in the future, we could just use rust-url to resolve the URL
after parsing or something, and make it all immutable. Maybe.

I've verified that this approach still works with the UA sheet patches (via the
LoadDataSource::Lazy).

The reordering of mWillChange is to avoid nsStyleDisplay from going over the
size limit. We want to split it up anyway in bug 1552587, but mBinding gains a
tag member, which means that we were having a bit of extra padding.

One thing I want to explore is to see if we can abuse rustc's non-zero
optimizations to predict the layout from C++, but that's something to explore at
some other point in time and with a lot of care and help from Michael (who sits
next to me and works on rustc ;)).

a70be0a92e Bug 1513393 part 4: In "retrieve-or-initialize" dances in SVGObserverUtils.cpp, use 'found' outparam and AddProperty. r=mattwoodrow
As in the previous commit, this avoids a redundant walk through the list of
frame properties, when we already know the property is not there.

fa80837513 Bug 1513387: Add braces & newlines to re-wrap some return statements that clang-format unwrapped, in layout/svg. r=heycam
This patch shouldn't affect behavior; it's just making the existing control
flow clearer and more debuggable.

a708b9e3d6 Bug 1512054 part 1: Add some needed "Inlines" includes to .cpp files in layout, to address some -Wundefined-inline build warnings in non-unified builds. r=TYLin
I'm also adding the non-"inlines" version of the added "inlines" includes, too,
since it's nice to have them included as a pair. (It's not strictly necessary,
since in these cases we were already indirectly including the non-"inlines"
header, but it seems like a good practice.)

This patch fixes build warnings in non-unified builds for the following calls:
- The call to IsColumnSpan() in layout/generic/ColumnSetWrapperFrame.cpp
- The call to Type() in layout/style/MappedDeclarations.cpp
- The call to IsInAnonymousSubtree() in layout/svg/SVGObserverUtils.cpp
