71a61746f4 Bug 1429593 - Part 2: Show that a WebExtension is managing the proxy config setting, r=jaws,mstriemer 
Update the general page of about:preferences, as well as the Connection Settings panel, to show
when an extension is controlling proxy settings, and allow a user to disable the extension to
regain control.

This also updates some of the strings to use the phrase "is controlling" rather than "controls".

31cb7a05fa Bug 1390161 - Show that a WebExtension is managing the tracking protection setting, r=jaws,mstriemer 
This adjusts both the new Tracking Protection UI and the old Tracking Protection UI on
about:preferences to indicate when an extension is controlling Tracking Protection. It
will disable the controls on about:preferences if an extension is in control, and provide
a button to disable the extension.

8d50dc0b07 Bug 1297686 - List GIO handlers in the protocol handler list, in the handlers dialog, and in preferences. r=paolo 
The nsGIOService now provides GetAppsForURIScheme which is used to append handlers
for specific scheme in handler list dialog (toolkit/mozapps/handling/content/dialog.js)
and also in Applications section in preferences. In case the default system handler
or user added handler has same name as one of the GIO handlers, the GIO handler
is not appended. The check for not adding handler is by using handler name.

The nsGIOMimeApp class now implements nsIHandlerApp interface. Instead overloaded
GetName methods (nsCString and nsString) we now use nsString variant everywhere.
This require change of nsGNOMERegistry::GetFromType which if fact leads to code
simplification.

The implementation of nsGNOMEShellService::SetDefaultBrowser has been changed
because implementation of CreateAppFromCommand has changed.
The CreateAppFromCommand no longer tries to find the application,
for that FindAppFromCommand has been introduced.

This is a follow-up to incomplete fix in bug 1382649. In that bug, I attempted to
set the process count value to the e10s rollout value, when the user unchecks
"Use default performance settings". The same function updatePerformanceSettingsBox()
is actually run during page load, resulting the user set value being changed to
e10s rollout value if the user decided to use the default process count.

Tests are written for both patches.

14608ddcac Bug 1353699 <menulist> for default font should use onsyncfrompreference r=jaws 
When font.name.*.* is set to false, "value" attribute of <preference> is removed.  Then, <preference>.setElementValue() with an element which doesn't have onsyncfrompreference tries to set null.  Then, <menulist> selects nothing.

In such case, <menulist> should select the item whose value is "". If there is onsyncfrompreference attribute and it returns empty string, <preference>.setElementValue()  works as expected.

918237b0ca Bug 1227230 - Remove all of the e10s prompting code. r=jimm 
This removes all of the e10s-related prompting code, including:
- doorhanger offering to opt-in into e10s
- pref and telemetry probe used to measure the number of users who remained opted-in
- dialog that shows up when unchecking the e10s checkbox saying that a tab will open, requesting feedback
- tab opening requesting feedback
- all related strings

The checkbox in the preferences window remains (nightly/aurora only), as well as the message saying that e10s requires a restart.

The e10s accessibility doorhanger remains. and chrome://browser/skin/e10s-64@2x.png remains too because it's also used in the a11y doorhanger.

a22c2d1f9e Bug 1192924: Expose the update URL formatting code a new UpdateUtils module. r=rstrong 
The GMP manager uses a copy of the update service's url formatting code and has
since fallen out of sync. We'll also want to use the same formatting code for
the system add-on update checks so this just exposes it in a shared API.

I've moved the contents of UpdateChannel.jsm to UpdateUtils.jsm and exposed
formatUpdateURL there as well as a few properties that the update service still
needs access to.

UpdateUtils.UpdateChannel is intended to be a lazy getter but isn't for now
since tests expect to be able to change the update channel at runtime.

fb7653707b Bug 1192924: Expose the update URL formatting code a new UpdateUtils module. r=rstrong 
The GMP manager uses a copy of the update service's url formatting code and has
since fallen out of sync. We'll also want to use the same formatting code for
the system add-on update checks so this just exposes it in a shared API.

I've moved the contents of UpdateChannel.jsm to UpdateUtils.jsm and exposed
formatUpdateURL there as well as a few properties that the update service still
needs access to.
