b55cdff3c1 Bug 1319771 - part2 : resume foreground window if it was still be blocked. r=baku 
In previous patch, we modify the behavior of nsDocument, now it would only resume
window when document has active media components.

However, it causes another issue. If the tab really goes to foreground, but
there is no active media component, the tab would still be blocked and it won't
be resumed anymore.

Therefore, we need to resume it by ourself if the tab is on the foreground but
doesn't be resumed yet.

9e4d1c7549 Bug 1319771 - part1 : only resume the window when there has active media components. r=baku 
For the first pinned tab, it would be set to visible first and then set to
invisible if there exists other tabs after restarting the whole browser.

If the tab is set to visible, we would activate the media component (set the
|mMediaSuspended| in outer window to none-suspend). In this case, the first
pinned tab would be set to visible briefly, but it doesn't mean the tab is in
the foreground, it's just how DOM manage the tab's visibility.

In that moment, none of the media component has been created yet. Therefore, we
would only activate the media component after the audio channel service exists.

b1f2ed57b2 Bug 1330512 (part 1) - DocGroup labelling in nsDocument.cpp. r=billm. 
For all the NS_DispatchToCurrentThread() cases I wasn't sure if we are
guaranteed to be on the main thread, so I added
MOZ_RELEASE_ASSERT(NS_IsMainThread()) to all of them. A try push showed up no
problems there.

Our use counter tests force reporting of use counters from documents to
make the tests more deterministic: relying on the default
report-at-document-destruction behavior would introduce any number of
intermittents.  However, documents may have any number of external
resource documents, and we have no mechanism for forcing a deterministic
reporting of the use counters from those documents.  Relying on those
external resources to have been destroyed (and thereby reported their
use counters) when we examine the values of the use counters in question
is a recipe for intermittent failures.

Therefore, we introduce an optional report kind for use counter
reporting: if a document is reporting its use counters for the purposes
of a test, we will also report the use counters for the document's
external resource documents.  This change makes everything more
deterministic.

3cade99c10 Bug 1321868 - Add an API to nsIDocument to determine whether a script is on the tracking protection list; r=bkelly 
In order to be able to put timeouts in the correct bucket as soon as
they are scheduled, we need to be able to synchronously tell whether a
timeout is coming from a script that is on the tracking protection list.
But the URL Classifier API which we use for this task is asynchronous.
Because of this, and to avoid unnecessary IPC from the content to the
parent process every time we need to know where a script came from, we
cache this information in nsIDocument.  The hash table mTrackingScripts
will have one entry per script loaded in the document which is on the
tracking protection list.

For performance reasons, we coalesce querying whether a script source
URL is on the tracking protection list with the load of the script from
the network.  In most cases we'll have the response from the URL
Classifier service before the script load is finished, but on the off
chance that the load finishes first, we wait before finishing the script
load to get the response from the URL Classifier service.

There hasn't been any traction on this feature, and we keep
paying the maintenance and code size and memory usage penalty
of having this implementation.

We can revive this from VCS history in the future if we decide
to start working on it again.  In the mean time, it's better
to remove it.

3f10f5ed57 Bug 1308287 part 1. Change [NeedsSubjectPrincipal] to only do the Maybe thing for interfaces that can be exposed to workers. r=baku 
The idea is to not make consumers think about whether the principal exists or
not when the caller knows for sure that it does.

The substantive changes are in dom/bindings, nsHTMLDocument::SetDesignMode, and
around the CanUseStorage bits.  Everything else is pretty mechanical.

b71747b2ac Bug 1299727 - Rename NS_WARN_IF_FALSE as NS_WARNING_ASSERTION. r=erahm. 
The new name makes the sense of the condition much clearer. E.g. compare:

  NS_WARN_IF_FALSE(!rv.Failed());

with:

  NS_WARNING_ASSERTION(!rv.Failed());

The new name also makes it clearer that it only has effect in debug builds,
because that's standard for assertions.

742fc7eb48 Bug 1297961 (part 1) - Introduce nsURI::GetSpecOrDefault(). r=hurley. 
This function is an infallible alternative to nsIURI::GetSpec(). It's useful
when it's appropriate to handle a GetSpec() failure with a failure string, e.g.
for log/warning/error messages. It allows code like this:

  nsAutoCString spec;
  uri->GetSpec(spec);
  printf("uri: %s", spec.get());

to be changed to this:

  printf("uri: %s", uri->GetSpecOrDefault().get());

This introduces a slight behavioural change. Previously, if GetSpec() failed,
an empty string would be used here. Now, "[nsIURI::GetSpec failed]" will be
produced instead. In most cases this failure string will make for a clearer
log/warning/error message than the empty string.
