4df1abc2c0 Bug 1321593 part A - Refactor nsXREAppData: 1) make nsXREAppData strongly own its members 2) rename it to mozilla::XREAppData 3) separate out the static compiled data into StaticXREAppData 4) Remove XRE_CreateAppData and XRE_FreeAppData 5) remove the struct size and related size-checking code which was only ever useful for cross-version compatibility, r=glandium

90de39d448 Bug 1300287 - Move Servo_Shutdown call to nsAppRunner.cpp. r=emilio 
This mirrors the location of Servo_Init. This is important because xpcshell runs
don't use nsAppRunner, and so we end up with an unpaired call to Servo_Shutdown,
which crashes.

8f84642d03 Bug 1296164 (part 2) - Use [must_use] on nsIFile.open{NSPR,ANSI}FileDesc(). r=froydnj. 
The patch also changes RemoteOpenFileChild::OpenNSPRFileDesc() so that it
cannot succeed with a null fd, so that checking just the return value is
sufficient.

Adds content sandbox metadata to parent and child crash reports:
Includes the value of pref security.sandbox.content.level,
whether or not the system is capable of sandboxing, if the
sandbox was successfully turned on, and (on Linux systems)
the sandbox capabilities flags.

New crash report keys:
"ContentSandboxLevel" in parent and content
"ContentSandboxCapable" in parent
"ContentSandboxEnabled" in content
"ContentSandboxCapabilities" in content on Linux

This removes all of the e10s-related prompting code, including:
- doorhanger offering to opt-in into e10s
- pref and telemetry probe used to measure the number of users who remained opted-in
- dialog that shows up when unchecking the e10s checkbox saying that a tab will open, requesting feedback
- tab opening requesting feedback
- all related strings

The checkbox in the preferences window remains (nightly/aurora only), as well as the message saying that e10s requires a restart.

The e10s accessibility doorhanger remains. and chrome://browser/skin/e10s-64@2x.png remains too because it's also used in the a11y doorhanger.

547732227b Bug 1236108: Modify sandbox initialization code to use directory service to obtain content process temp directory; r=bobowen,haik 
The previous patch in this series creates a new directory service entry
specifically for obtaining the content process temp directory.

This patch converts everything else to reference that entry. It also sets
appropriate environment variables in the content processes so that system
APIs automatically pick up the directory. This is necessary for the crash
reporter to be able to call those APIs in exception handling contexts.

Modify the Mac sandbox to allow temporary files to be created in a
parent-specified subdirectory of NS_OS_TEMP_DIR. This is similar to the
Windows approach. The parent provides a UUID in a preference which is
used by the content process to form the subdirectory name.

now has a static constructor that runs when glib is loaded, consequently
emitting a noisy error message which confuses people into believing it's the
root of their problems.

The only way left to force the slice allocator to use "system" malloc (in
practice, jemalloc) is to set the G_SLICE environment variable to
always-malloc, and that needs to happen before glib is loaded.

Fortunately, the firefox and plugin-container executables don't depend on
glib. Unfortunately, webapprt does, so the problem remains for web apps
running through it. xpcshell and other executables that depend on libxul
directly (as opposed to loading it dynamically) are not covered either.

68b1796240 Bug 486172 - Don't ignore a -p command line argument when using the Xremote protocol. r=bsmedberg 
On X11, when running firefox -p foo http://mozilla.org, and a window for another
profile is already open, the -p argument is ignored and a new tab or window is
opened in the unrelated session.

Previously, the equivalent firefox -p foo -remote openurl(http://mozilla.org)
would see that there is no window for the profile foo, complain about it, and
abort. If a window for the profile foo was open, however, a new tab or windows
would open in that session.

Here, we modify the behaviour such that firefox -p foo http://mozilla.org never
ignores the -p argument, and does the sensible thing depending on the context:
- if a window is already open for the profile, use that session.
- otherwise, open a new window for that profile.

When no -p argument is given, the behaviour is unchanged.

As RemoteCommandLine, which first attempts to open a connection with an existing
firefox, falls through when there is no existing firefox, the -p argument must be
kept in the command line. It turns out CheckArg didn't handle the case properly,
so fix this as well.

The changes in RemoteCommandLine otherwise match what used to be in
HandleRemoteArgument before bug 1080319.
